“Actually, I didn’t even write all the poems. The first one that appears (starting with “the shape of your breath”) is one that Merc wrote before recruiting me and so is Vector’s shipsong. I did a few other things, like beta reading and offering suggestions on the story as a whole, but really Merc is being very generous by listing me as an equal co-author and I’m grateful.”
