And Then There Were None is a mystery novel first published in the UK by the Collins Crime Club on 6 November 1939, as Ten Little Niggers, after the British blackface song, which serves as a major plot point. In the US it was published under the title "And Then There Were None", which is the most widely used today. It has also been published as "Ten Little Indians".
