Classic Rock is an English-language music magazine that specialises in rock music. The magazine exists since 1998, the editorial office is based in London. There are 13 issues per year.
The publisher of Classic Rock in Great Britain is TeamRock Limited.
Since April 2010 there is a German edition, which has been published by piranha media GmbH since March 2012 (publisher: Alexander Lacher) and is launched ten times a year in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The authors Jerry Ewing and Dave Ling as well as graphic artist Andy Ryan developed the first concept for Classic Rock in 1998, which is still being followed today. They are currently working on the "sister paper" Metal Hammer, which is also published by TeamRock Limited.
