Not to be confused with other authors named Dan Spencer. In particular: the medieval military historian who wrote "Royal and Urban Gunpowder Weapons in Late Medieval England" and "The Castle in the Wars of the Roses" (Wikidata Q43866121, Goodreads author 748143), and a separate fiction and poetry writer. OpenLibrary author OL2964883A previously conflated all three; it was split on 2026-08-18 and now lists only this author’s music-instruction titles.
