Annotation
Javier Sáez is a sociologist and translator. Author of the essay Queer Theory and Psychoanalysis. He has translated books by Judith Butler (Language, power and identity), Monique Wittig (Heterosexual Thought) and Judith Halberstam (Female Masculinity). He is also an unsubmissive bear, and a faggot activist. Since 1995 he publishes the electronic magazine Maribollera www.hartza.com. Between 2003 and 2005 he taught, with Paco Vidarte, the Open Teaching Course of the UNED "Introduction to queer theory". He is co-editor of the book Queer Theory. Boleras, faggot, trans, mestizo policies, and has led the HIV prevention campaigns "Hair yes, bareback no" and "Bears, protected species".
He currently works in the European Social Fund.
Sejo Carrascosa, self-taught and with a clear allergy to the academic world, has been an activist in different anti-authoritarian and sexual liberation groups. Promoter of La Radical Gai, he has published articles in different magazines and publications: "De un plumazo," "Resiste", "La Kampeadora", etc.
He has worked as a bookseller, editor, sherpa, drug trafficker, sailor, technician (heterodox) in HIV and STI prevention, and in hospitality (of course!).
He currently survives in Gasteiz (Euskal Herria).
