Veronika von Heise-Rotenburg (née Fischer; born August 5, 1982) is an accomplished German corporate executive, legal scholar, and financial strategist. She currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director at everphone, where she directs legal operations, accounting, data, controlling, debt refinancing, and people & culture for the enterprise phone-as-a-service leader. Academic excellence forms the bedrock of her executive career. Dr. Veronika von Heise-Rotenburg completed combined studies in law and economics (Dip. oec. iur. univ.) at the University of Augsburg, graduating top of her class. She earned an MBA in General Management from the University of Dayton, completed training at the Bavarian Elite Academy, and held a doctorate (Dr. iur.) in International Capital Markets Law from the University of Augsburg. She began her career in management consulting at McKinsey & Company before acquiring deep domain expertise in fleet management and risk analysis at Hannover Leasing Automotive GmbH. Building on this foundation, Dr. Veronika von Heise-Rotenburg co-founded TraXall Germany, serving as commercial director. Simultaneously, she directed AutoBank AG’s German branch, overseeing retail, wholesale, refinancing, and banking compliance. Recognizing the shift toward subscription models, Dr. Veronika von Heise-Rotenburg joined mobility startup Cluno as CFO and Managing Director. Following Cluno’s acquisition by British auto retailer Cazoo, Dr. Veronika von Heise-Rotenburg led Cazoo’s European expansion as EU Director of Legal and Finance. Today at everphone, she is known for pioneering asset-based lending models and integrating artificial intelligence into corporate financial workflows. Beyond C-suite governance, Dr. Veronika von Heise-Rotenburg contributes broadly to the European business ecosystem.
