Swift Action 1: Building AI Artists with Identity Before Exposure. Swift Action 1 is the story of an AI artist who arrived before the industry was ready to listen. On December 11, 2025, Swift Action 1 quietly became live and streamable on Apple Music with “I Don’t Have the Tears to Cry Anymore.” There was no rollout, no press campaign, and no industry framing. While labels and commentators were still debating what that means for music, Swift Action 1 was already on platform — present, playable, and human in emotion. What followed set her apart. With “Don’t Hate Me Just Because I’m AI,” Swift Action 1 addressed the music industry directly through song, confronting the growing tension between human artistry and artificial intelligence from inside the music itself.
