  • AdaptationWorkWork is an adaption of Work Work

    An adaptation is a work that's been altered in some way.
    Links a work that is an adaptation of another work.

    • TranslationWorkWork is a translation of Work Work

      Links a work that is a translation of another work, remember to also link the translator of the work as well.

      • RevisionWorkWork is a revision of Work Work

        Links a work to a revision of it.

        • DerivativeWorkWork is derived from Work Work

          A derivation is a work that is based on another work, such as parodies or inspirations.
          Links a work that is in some way a derivation.

          • InspirationWorkWork inspired Work Work

            Links a work to another it is inspired by in some way.
            Only use this, if the work is generally understood to be inspired by another.

            • ParodyWorkWork is a parody of Work Work

              Links a work to another that it is a parody of.
              Only use this if the work is explicitly stated, or is generally understood to be a parody.

              • ReconstructionWorkWork is a reconstruction of Work Work

                A reconstruction, is a work that is created by (usually) another person than the original writer, using already written bits and pieces to create a consistent whole.
                Links a work to another work it is a reconstruction of.
                Example: The Silmarillion

            • PartWorkWork has part Work Work

              When a work consists of several sub-parts, this is used to link each part to the mother work.
              For example; Individual chapters previously released as short-stories, fix-ups, poetry cycles, excerpts, stand-alone works that are also parts of a whole.

              • ExcerptsWorkWork contains excerpts from Work Work

                Links a work to another work that it quotes verbatim.
                Only use this if it is quoted outright.

                • Citation/ReferenceWorkWork cites Work Work

                  Links a work to another it refers to.
                  Contrarily to excerpts, cites refers to another work without copying its content, often the sourced work is listed in a "Reference" section (commonly at bottom of pages or in a special section at the back of the book).
